About the webinar:
Prof. Uwe R Brueckner, founder of STUDIO UWE BRUECKNER (SUB), co-founder of the Basel based Institute for Interior Design and Scenography (HGK Basel), internationally renowned architect, scenographer and curator will give a lecture on how to stage emotions in sophisticated exhibitions and with what kind of design instruments visitors ́ experiences can be emotionalized. He will share his experiences regarding the impact of modern scenography e.g. how to make objects talk, paper sound or content be perceived syn-aesthetically. He will demonstrate how visitors ́ participation may involve the visitors to become part of the storytelling, how an addressed role lets them feel like witnesses, like protagonists of their own perception. Scenography as media for sensibilization. Webinar will be held in English.

On both the national and international level, Prof. Uwe R. Brueckner is highly esteemed as an opinion leader in the area of exhibition design and planning. He is regarded as an eminent authority and expert on the development of narrative spatial concepts. On the basis of his philosophy of design encapsulated in the credo “form follows content” and his design methodology “creative structure”, he developed more than 400 concepts, has created more than 200 exhibition sets and experiential environments for museums and corporate brands. As the Chief Creative Director of the ATELIER BRÜCKNER, Uwe R. Brueckner was the responsible designer for numerous Expo-Pavilions like in Hannover 2000, Germany (Cycle Bowl, Theme-parc Environment), Expo 02, Biel, Switzerland (Grenzen Erleben), Zaragoza 2008, Spain (African Pavilion, Scandinavian Pavilions’ Facades), Shanghai 2010, China (State Grid Pavilion), Yeosu, South Korea (GS Caltex Pavilion). He is also well known for his outstanding design concepts for museums e.g. House of History Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, DE; State Saxonian State Museum of Archaeology, Chemnitz, DE; The Ethnological Museum Rautenstrauch-Joest Cologne, DE; BMW-Museum, Munich, DE, National Museum Switzerland (Period-rooms, Archaeology) CH, Scheepvaart Museum (National Maritime), Amsterdam NL; Grand Egyptian Museum Cairo/Gizeh, EGY. His numerous as exceptional corporate projects are also playing in the same sophisticated league, like trade-fare stands for Panasonic or Kodak, brand centreslike Hyundai Motorstudio, Seoul/Goyang KR or The Macallan Whisky Experience SCT and experience centres e.g. CERN`s Universe of Particles, Geneva CH or the European Parliament ́s PARLAMENTARIUM, Bruxelles, B.
