She is a migration researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna and a guest researcher and lecturer at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. She is chair of the board of directors of the biggest European research network on migration, IMISCOE. Together with Marco Martiniello, she coordinates the IMISCOE Standing Committee Superdiversity, Migration and Cultural Change (DIVCULT). Recent publications include:
